Answers To Common Questions
Quick guides for everyday hosting tasks. Can't find it? Open a ticket below.
Domains & DNS
Update your domain's nameservers at your registrar to the ones in your welcome email. Changes usually take effect within a few hours, and can take up to 24–48 hours worldwide.
Log in to cPanel, open Zone Editor, select your domain and choose Add Record. Pick the type (A, CNAME, MX or TXT), enter the values and save.
In cPanel open Email Accounts, click Connect Devices next to the mailbox and use the IMAP and SMTP settings shown. Use SSL/TLS ports and your full email address as the username.
Make sure SPF, DKIM and DMARC records exist for your domain (cPanel → Email Deliverability). Avoid sending bulk mail from your hosting account and keep your content clear and personal.
WordPress
Open cPanel, go to Softaculous Apps Installer, choose WordPress and click Install. Pick your domain, set an admin username and strong password, and finish the install.
Enable the LiteSpeed Cache plugin, use a current PHP version, optimise images and remove unused plugins. Our blog has a detailed guide.
SSL & Security
Check that SSL is active in cPanel → SSL/TLS Status, then force HTTPS from cPanel → Domains. In WordPress, make sure the site URL starts with https://.
In cPanel open JetBackup, choose the date, then restore files, databases or email. Contact support if you'd like us to do it for you.
Files & Databases
Use cPanel File Manager to upload a ZIP and extract it into public_html, or connect with an FTP/SFTP client such as FileZilla using your cPanel credentials.
In cPanel open MySQL Database Wizard, create a database and user, then grant the user all privileges on that database.
Account & Billing
Log in to the client area, select your service and choose Upgrade/Downgrade, or ask our team to do it for you. Upgrades are pro-rated.
Log in to the client area, open your hosting service and use the Change Password option. Use a strong, unique password.
Raise A Ticket
Customers: open a ticket in your client area so it is linked to your account and services. No account yet? Use this form and we'll reply by email.
